Welcome to Day 3 of SmudgeFest!!
WORDY WEDNESDAY
USE ONLY WORDS TODAY(no images, just words).
* EDIT - So...I didn't realize how hard this one could be for everyone so here is an idea that might help....you can use background/texture stamps to help create your project....
Also, most of our sets come with sentiments, but we also have a set called Teen Sayings. It can be purchased at half-price today (last day of our 50% OFF digi sets sale). The discount is applied during checkout.
HOPE THAT HELPS!
The Prize:
Word.
Remember, be sure to link up by midnight tonight to qualify for the daily (and grand) prize. Then check back tomorrow for the new theme.
I made two projects today. Click the images to enlarge the pictures. My first project was a tag that used tons of Dylusions Spray inks with stencils. I used background stamps from one of Smeared Ink's retired rubber sets. I believe it was called Inky Dreams, but I may be wrong. I stamped the background stamps with Versa mark embossing ink and used various colors of Zing embossing powders. The only word is ART. I added some ribbon fibers as an accent.
Next is project number 2. I made this just in case my background stamps in my first project were mistaken for image stamps. I know, I'm paranoid, but I really want that Amazon gift card!
I made mini blood vials using glossy accents and R59 alcohol ink from my Copic refill container. I mixed the solution with a thick sewing needle and corked the vial. Using one of Smeared Ink's Li'l Grumpies sentiments, I stamped "suck it up" and stuck it to the vial with double sided tape.
Cheers!

Awesome tag - love the colours. I have never tried them spray inks. The little bottle is wonderful - for some reason it just made me giggle. !! Maybe I am going a little strange today ! :-D xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tag, love the colors! The little vile of blood is just fabulous too. Way to rock the challenge :)
ReplyDeleteLove both projects. Your tag is fun and I love the colorful background...your vile is creepy-tastic! Good luck on SmudgeFest!
ReplyDeleteBeautifl tag and the bottle Rocks
ReplyDeleteI totally LOVE both of these entries! The tag is so gorgeous, beautiful collage and pleasing colors - it "wow"s me. The idea of that sentiment on the tiny vile is perfect! Perfect for any zombie needing encouragement to get through the day!
