Strange Skin New Release Blog Hop

Strange Skin New Release Blog Hop

It's been quite a while since the dynamic duo (Pam and Jorge) of Strange Skin released some new images, but boy, has it been worth the wait!  Today Strange Skin is releasing 4 new sets that are going to help you get your freak on.  They've got something for everyone with this release, even if having a bit of the creep factor isn't your cup of tea.  Trust me when I tell you, nobody has images like these!

We have one heck of a hop for your today!  There are gals from all different circles, using all different styles.  You are sure to love everything you see!  The hop will start at Pam's Blog so if you haven't been there yet, please head on back to check her out.  The complete blog roll is listed below (under my project pictures).  To shop the new images, visit Strange Skin's etsy shop HERE.  Don't forget!  Today is the last day that you can get ANY of Strange Skin's ORIGINAL digis for HALF PRICE!!!.  Yup!  50% off of any of Strange Skin's original digi sets.

Please note, the new release items from today are not included in the sale.

There will be a prize for a randomly selected comment!  One person will win 2 of the new images (Pam's choice) so be sure to comment on everyone's blog for a chance to win.  Pam will post the winner in a couple of days.

I made this wicked pendant.

Here is another view

I tried to get my cat to model the pendant.  That didn't work so well.

My little bat was an okay substitute, but he is way too short to model.

I used my awesome Strange Skin Beetle (from the "buggin' out" set), colored him digitally in PSE8 and added him to an Itkupilli background.  I printed this out onto glossy photo paper, squeezed out a touch of glossy accents onto the photo, then applied the plastic pendant directly to the glossy accent coated photo, making sure to press out any air bubbles.  After it dried, I cut the excess photo paper off with an exacto knife and sealed the back of the photo with more glossy accents.  I added a few beads and cording, and I had an awesome pendant!

Here is another creation I made with Strange Skin's Beetle image:

The beetles are from Strange Skin, the background and creepy girl are Itkupilli, and the saying is mine.
